The name Adejo derives from the verb "adejar", which means to flutter, hover or flap one's wings to stay in the air.

  1. 2005 - Starting point

    Our journey began in 2005 with the creation of DW Consulting, a spin-off from MasterSAF Brasil. It was the first consultancy in the country dedicated to implementing MasterSAF tax solutions.

  2. 2007 - Consolidation as Aliz

    The natural evolution led to the transition of the brand to Aliz, which quickly established itself as a benchmark in tax integration, supporting large companies in adapting their systems, with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

  3. 2009 - Birth of Adejo

    At a time of major changes in the Brazilian tax scenario - with the digitalization promoted by the Electronic Invoice and SPED - Adejo was born with a modern and agile DNA, offering technology, innovative solutions and specialized consultancy to face this new reality.

  4. 2011 - Thomson Reuters in Brazil

    Thomson Reuters enters the domestic market with the acquisition of MasterSAF.

  5. 2016 - Largest consultancy in the Thomson Reuters ecosystem

    The merger between Aliz and Adejo opened a new chapter in our history. This union has consolidated Adejo as the largest tax and technology consultancy in the market, both in terms of volume of projects and number of clients served.

  6. 2018 - Expansion to serve foreign trade

    In order to respond to the growing demands of the market, Adejo has expanded its operations into Foreign Trade, combining specialized consultancy and technological solutions that support companies in the management and optimization of customs processes and international tax compliance.

  7. 2022 - Strategic partnership with SAP

    Adejo has become an SAP partner, expanding its operations to localization projects in Brazil and strengthening its position as an integrator of tax, foreign trade and technology solutions for organizations.

  8. 2024 - First global projects on SAP S/4HANA

    We take the lead on large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects, delivering cutting-edge technology and operational excellence to our clients.

  9. 2025 - Leadership in Tax Reform
